Nexus is seeking a passionate and driven programmatic expert to join our regional Addressable Media Excellence (AME) team – the driving force behind all Nexus Media Solutions and Programmatic Practice activity in APAC.

This role reports to the Director, Programmatic Trading – AME.

Measures of success –
In three months:
- Gain an in depth understanding of the programmatic landscape
- Undergo Nexus Induction trainings on the various Nexus platforms and tools to have a full understanding of how Nexus operates
- Certified on key platforms and technology Nexus programmatic practitioners utilise
- Up to speed with the various DSPs beta offerings and formulating test and learn initiatives with local markets
- Understand GroupM programmatic operational excellence guidelines, including campaign governance, brand-safety best practices and supply path optimization etc.
- Understand Nexus Media Solution commercial model, unique value propositions, and solution offering packages.
- Gain rapport with local markets and agency key account stakeholders.
In six months:
- Independently work on subject matter topics/ initiatives assigned to provide Trading POV and work towards milestones defined
- Build a deep familiarity with our clients’ businesses, strategies, and media-buying goals
- Work closely with regional Client Growth Team on key clients on
- Strategies for performance and efficiency
- Digital process audit guidance (where applicable)
- Provide governance on Brand Safety Adoption in markets and campaigns
- Support local markets and promote AI usage
- Continue to refine gaps/processes/tools to improve campaign performance and efficiency
- Be the subject matter expert on any technical operational questions related to new products launching from local markets
In twelve months:
- Be an integral part of the team and add value in all aspects assigned
- Be confident to hold training sessions where applicable
- Be knowledgeable to run omni channel campaigns
- Be a trusted advisor to both regional and local markets on Trading queries
- Be motivated to always Test and Learn, share and seek different optimization tactics and knowledge share with the wider trading team
Strategic Responsibilities -
AI Expertise:
- Be the APAC Copilot expert: Provide expertise, training, and support for our AI-powered platform, driving adoption and identifying new use cases.
- Champion AI innovation: Lead test-and-learn initiatives of AI offerings in the marketplace, monitor performance, draw insights and make recommendations, and stay abreast of industry trends to unlock new opportunities.
Programmatic Practice & Addressable Media Excellence:
- Elevate programmatic performance: Serve as a regional expert, providing guidance, best practices, and technical troubleshooting to assigned markets.
- Standardize programmatic execution for client success: Co-develop GroupM POVs with global taskforces to design and set GroupM programmatic standards to build a strong foundation for the client’s success.
- Governing key clients’ campaign activation: Determine the best efficient way for Digital Process Audit framework to rollout and be maintained by local markets
- Drive strategic advancements: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop key clients' programmatic maturity frameworks to identity growth opportunity and improve client’s investment return.
Solutions Building
- Develop client-centric solutions: Collaborate with Client Growth and Solutions Science team to build solutions, develop compelling go to market narratives, create operational process & guidelines and ensure client satisfaction.
Cross-Channel Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Deliver exceptional campaign results: Plan, execute, and optimize impactful programmatic campaigns across all channels, exceeding client KPIs and maximizing ROI.
- Turn data into insights: Leverage data-driven insights to inform campaign strategies, optimize targeting and creatives, and continuously improve performance.
What you will need:
- 5-6 years professional experience with digital marketing agency, ad network or other digital media company
- Ability to execute programmatic campaigns with experience including DSPs/SSPs, RTB, ad exchanges, DMPs, audience targeting
- Applied knowledge of 3rd party ad serving, website tracking and associated technologies
- Experience managing digital ad campaigns, - display, video, mobile or paid search from implementation, optimisation to reporting
- Knowledge and passion for digital marketing and Machine Learning: digital display, digital branding, digital direct response, SEM, video & mobile
- Bachelors degree in any of these disciplines are welcome
- Computer Science/ Information Technology
- Statistics, business analytics, or related quantitative program
- Marketing, Mass Communications, Arts
- Result-oriented with strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and under supervision once objectives have been set
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and multi cultural team environment
- Good command in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment - harvest vast amounts of information, news, data, and research and distill the most important/relevant information for your agency team and their clients.
