About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager (Mechanical) is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of aircons and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) system in buildings.
This role involves leading a team of competent project manager, project engineers, BIM modellers, quantity surveyors, site supervisors and skilled workers in tendering for projects, procuring materials, equipment and manpower, coordinating with stakeholders, installation of the ACMV system, conduct of testing and commissioning of the ACMV system, as well as contract administration.

- Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of ACMV engineers, supervisors and skilled workers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the team
2. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with main contractor, MEP contractors as well as other trades subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of works.
3. Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, supervisors and skilled workers in executing their works according to technical specifications and drawings, as well as prevailing codes and regulations.
- Ensure smooth execution of works in timely manner to meet project schedule.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in aircon systems.
4. Budget Management
- Manage the project budget in materials and manpower.
- Monitor expenses, analyze budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.
5. Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and customers.
6. Reporting
- Provide updates to senior management on departmental performance and challenges.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in aircon repair and maintenance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in management and execution of aircon and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) works
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- Certification in ACMV systems or related field is advantageous
