Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design and analysis of complex projects, including high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations, such as the Singapore Building Control Act.
- Provide technical support during construction, including site visits, inspections, and resolving technical issues.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
- A drive to explore new technologies and methodologies.
- Willingness to work 5.5 days per week.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations.
