We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer based at the Singapore office. In general, this role will provide technical support in mechanical engineering for the Singapore business and more generally to the Asia Region; work closely with the Building Services Lead in the business development and marketing of the Group capabilities; and manage project inputs and ensure the project budget and controls are in place.
- Perform engineering tasks on the mechanical services detailed design including calculations, computer simulations, and specifications for building M&E infrastructure, mainly in Data Center and Healthcare projects.
- Ensure consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans/specifications are maintained across the project.
- Coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project. Working at coordinating with drafting and design staff to fulfill deliverables.
- Write technical reports and specifications including functional descriptions for M&E systems.
- Lead/attend project/site meetings with Client, PM, and Consultants.
- Build relationships with clients generally as a Seller and Doer role.
- Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by PEB Singapore. Experience in BIM and 3D models is crucial.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy on Data Center and/or healthcare projects.
- Knowledge of relevant Local Building Codes and international standards to ensure compliance.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set.
