Responsibilities:
· Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with the inspection & test plan for structural works. Raise request for inspection of works & liaise with the RE/RTO on the inspection of structural work-related records.
· Submit summary of daily concreting activity to RE/RTO to notify estimated timing for Inspection.
· Monitor & supervise Foreman, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of Workmanship. Check on the quality quantity of work done by the structural subcontractors.
· Check incoming drawings & resolve discrepancies prior to start of work. Maintain structural Drawings, update part prints/shop drawings & ensure that drawings are “FOR CONSTRUCTION” status.
· Liaise with Senior Engineer & Senior Foreman to plan work schedules. Work closely with M&E Department and Architectural Department for clearance before casting.
· Monitor site programs & feedback to the Senior Engineer on progress of works. Calculate, initiate order & maintain records of concrete used on daily basis.
· Assist and report to Project Manager.
· Monitor progress of work to ensure timely completion of Projects.
· Control the material wastage and Manpower.
· Arrange the construction materials and machinery for the works.
· Time management of the sub-contractor to finish job according to, the schedule.
· Responsible for the ensuring safety and equipment are well maintained and in good working condition.
Requirements:
· Minimum qualification in certificate of Junior College
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
