Application Support Analyst – Capital Markets

Application Monitoring Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the build team to define and implement application monitoring.
  • Oversee daily and monthly monitoring, addressing user requests by working with project, infrastructure, and production teams.
  • Provide support for overnight batches (Singapore morning/ afternoon) to quickly analyze and resolve issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on data quality for risk chains, with increased focus during the monthly run.

Incident and Request Management (Business Users & IT Teams):

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to business users (e.g., traders, risk managers, market operators, back-office/middle-office analysts, market data admins).
  • Analyze and manage incidents, problems, and requests.

Problem Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Maintain a knowledge base for each application, in coordination with the build and ops teams.
  • Work with the build team to assess problem priorities, follow up on resolutions, and contribute to long-term solutions.
  • Provide non-functional requirements to the build team for implementing monitoring as code where possible.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the Capital Markets domain and market activities.
  • Experience with Asset Control software.
  • Experience working with external data sources like Bloomberg and Reuters.
  • Proven technical proficiency with strong SQL skills.
  • High-level proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Experience in SLA & KPI management, client communication, and interaction.
  • Predictive analysis, consulting, and escalation management.
    Risk analysis and project execution.

Shift Timings

  • Work hours : 8:45am – 6:30pm SGT and shift rotation 5PM – 2AM SGT
  • Rotational Week-end support.
