We are looking to hire Front Office Application Support position within the Global Markets Fixed Income Application Support. The role involves providing frontline application production support for global applications. As a key focal point for the client and user experience, this position is responsible for restoring complex or major production incidents under tight timeline and ensuring thorough root-cause analysis and problem resolution follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Fixed Income Global Rates Application Support team.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office users to address issues, resolve queries, and provide solutions.
- Manage incidents and problem resolution processes.
- Perform Start of Day, End of Day, and Start of Week checks.
- Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to minimize or prevent business impact.
- Identify and drive opportunities for automation to reduce manual tasks performed by the team.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Fixed Income Application Support domain.
- Hands-on experience with Unix platforms and commands.
- Proficiency in SQL queries and commands.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Elastic, Dynatrace, etc.
- Knowledge of incident and problem management.
- Understanding of Fixed Income products.
Preferred Skills:
- Scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, VB, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Tableau.
- Familiarity with tooling such as Ansible, TOSCA, etc., is a plus.
