We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Assistant / Executive to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will manage the processing of customer payments, oversee collections, and ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of accounts. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development within our company. Our office is located in Tuas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing:Receive and process customer payments.
Apply payments to corresponding invoices and handle payment discrepancies.
Resolve any payment-related issues efficiently.
- Collections:Follow up with customers on overdue payments.
Liaise with the customer service and sales teams to address collection concerns.
Escalate critical cases to management when necessary.
- Reporting:Prepare and maintain accounts receivable aging reports.
- Account Reconciliation:Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to enhance accounts receivable processes.
Implement changes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
