Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop team to achieve company’s objectives effectively and within budget and ensuring activities are conducted ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws and standards.
- Manage the team in accordance to the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality in compliance to statutory requirements, industry standards and company regulations.
- Establish functional objectives, policies, procedures and key performance indicators to ensure safe and efficient operation of the functions.
- Establish and implement strategies that have mid to long-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with parent/independent organization objectives.
- Lead and implement function’s improvement and cost saving activities in the company.
- Liaise closely with Japan HQ to report business progress and updates.
Our Requirements:
- At least a master’s degree in Engineering
- Preferably more than 15 years relevant experience in Chemical Industry
- Preferably more than 15 years relevant experience in leading a team of Senior Manager and above positions.
- Proficient in Spoken and Written Japanese – Business presentation & communication to HQ.
