NIE invites applications for an Executive position in the Finance Department.


Responsibilities

You will be part of the team which handles undergraduate billing and other student-related financial matters for the institute. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Billing for undergraduate courses, hostels and facilities.
  • Checking that all payment transactions have appropriate certification and approvals before being processed for payments.
  • Responding to enquiries pertaining to facilities and student matters.
  • Assisting in the design, implementation and review of financial processes, policies and guidelines for continuous improvements, through streamlining and automation.
  • Participating in system implementation, enhancements, and user acceptance testing.
  • Handling ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of financial administration and accounting work experience.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt, with problem-solving skills.
  • An effective team player with the ability to work independently is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner, able to multi-task, track and deliver assignments on schedule.
  • Self-motivated, energetic and results oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in SAP and Ariba would be an added advantage.

Other Information

NIE staff can take chartered buses at their own expense from or near their homes to NIE campus. This is subject to the availability of seats.
