As a Clinic Assistant, you will manage communication with patients while ensuring accurate documentation. You will also focus on assisting with front desk tasks, including patient registration, payment processing, medication dispensing, and maintaining clinic cleanliness. The position requires handling administrative duties and ensuring patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Clinic contact centre (80%)
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication, including calls, instant messages, SMS, and emails.
- Address patient inquiries, schedule or reschedule appointments, and process referrals promptly and professionally.
- Book appointments based on clinic operating hours and doctors' schedules, ensuring accuracy in the clinical system.
- Escalate complex issues or concerns to management or relevant parties.
- Provide guidance on insurance-related matters when applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Clinic front counter (20%)
- Assist patients with registration and payment at front desk.
- Support medication preparation and dispensing.
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Retrieve patient case notes as required.
- Uphold confidentiality of all patient and client information.
- Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Prior customer service experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to rotate between three hospital locations as needed for manpower coverage if required.
