Job Brief
The Project Manager will lead end-to-end project execution, from initial planning and budgeting to ongoing monitoring and completion, with a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes for clients. This role involves direct engagement with clients, including C-suite leaders, and hands-on application of Service Design and Job Redesign methodologies, especially within the lifestyle sector. The Project Manager will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding the project team, ensuring high standards in all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership and Execution - Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring progress to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement - Engage directly with clients at various levels, including C-suite leaders, to ensure alignment on project goals, expectations, and outcomes. Conduct client-facing engagements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship - Conduct regular performance reviews, provide hands-on training, and actively support the development of Project Executives and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Methodologies and Toolkits - Apply experience in Service Design and Job Redesign to manage and execute projects effectively, particularly for clients in the lifestyle sector.
- Quality Control and Deliverables - Oversee the quality of all project deliverables, ensuring they meet both internal and client standards. Maintain accountability for achieving project milestones and outcomes.
- Project Tracking and Reporting - Provide regular feedback on project progression to management, offering insights for strategic direction and any necessary adjustments.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving - Address project challenges independently, demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptability. For significant deviations from project scope or timeline, escalate to management for guidance.
- Documentation and Administration - Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project logs, reports, and meeting summaries, ensuring timely and organized project records.
- Event and Travel Requirements - Travel as needed, both locally and potentially overseas, to manage on-site project engagements and event management responsibilities depending on program requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Business Management or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in the lifestyle sector, with a strong understanding of Service Design or Job Redesign practices.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
- Proven capability to work independently and take the initiative, with excellent follow-up skills.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a keen desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
