about the Job
As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) projects and Change Requests (CRs) for Singapore and regional entities. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient ETL processes that handle data cleaning, integration, transformation, and loading operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly support the accuracy, reliability, and availability of data for decision-making, analysis, and reporting.
Skills and Experience Required
- 8+ years in ETL development, including Control-M, Unix Shell Scripting, and advanced SQL for complex data processing and optimization.
- 8+ years managing CI/CD pipelines: source control (Git, Bitbucket), automated builds, deployment pipelines, and Jenkins.
- 6+ years experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, HBase) and distributed data processing (MapReduce, Spark, Flink).
- Expertise in data engineering: building scalable ETL pipelines, data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
- Advanced proficiency with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Aldon for managing release cycles and deployments.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Remedy for incident and ticket management.
- Strong experience in root cause analysis (RCA), performance tuning, and issue resolution for large-scale production systems.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced SQL (query optimization, indexing, partitioning) for performance and scalability.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in large, complex systems.
- Experience in Python for data automation and Java for backend services.
- Experience with NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
- Experience with system integration protocols: SFTP, FTP, Connect Direct, REST APIs, SOAP.
- Knowledge of collaboration platforms like Confluence and SharePoint for documentation and project management.
