The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving the company’s business growth and brand presence in Singapore and the broader global market. This individual will be responsible for sales strategy formulation, customer relationship management, market research, and brand promotion activities. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, with strong international trade experience, market insights, and a passion for sustainable innovation.
The role is focused on research and development of sustainable packaging products, including paper packaging bags, eco-friendly cushioning materials, automated paper bag production, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development and SalesDevelop and execute sales strategies to increase market share in Singapore and internationally. Actively promote the company’s product offerings to new and existing clients globally.
- Market ResearchConduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
Provide strategic recommendations based on research to support market expansion.
- Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Participate in client meetings and business negotiations to secure new accounts and manage existing ones.
- Sales Management: Set sales targets, monitor performance, and submit regular reports on sales activity and market insights. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Brand Promotion Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance global brand visibility. Work with internal teams to plan and implement marketing activities that align with brand goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Languages: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; bilingualism is required.
- Skills: Strong market development, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in corporate management, international trade, or overseas market development.
- Customer Relationship: Demonstrated ability to foster long-term relationships with clients; customer-focused and patient.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: SGD 5,000 - 8,000 per month
