Responsibilities
- Plan production schedule and delivery to meet customer orders and buffer stock requirements.
- Generate and review forecasting data and historical trends to determine material buying plans and production builds.
- Formulate, execute, and control production plans based on forecasts and sales history.
- Collaborate with the team to monitor, track, and address material shortages to prevent production disruptions.
- Review daily material shortages and expedite orders to minimize production delays.
- Manage and control production plans to ensure optimal inventory levels for meeting customer demand and lead times.
- Liaise with R&D, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure efficient manufacturability, standardization, and quality.
- Check BOM details and upload BOMs via ERP system as needed.
- Review EOL, rejected, and scrapped materials and highlight any issues.
- Review material requirements and stock status via the system to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing of orders (MO, PO).
- Prepare and submit reports as required (e.g., MO, OTD).
- Perform other tasks/duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Work Experience & Skill Job Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably in semiconductor/manufacturing industries.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Experience handling and managing suppliers.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and independence.
- Result-oriented, organized, meticulous, and with good problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work additional hours when required.
- Proactive and positive mindset.
