Responsibilities
- Leading audit engagements, covering engagement planning, process review, preparation, and review of audit workpapers, audit finalisation reports and financial statements across a portfolio of diversified clients including multinational corporations
- Participating in cross-border engagements and group audits with group/component audit teams and/or Grant Thornton network teams
- Recognising possible audit concerns or unusual relationships based on basic financial statement analysis and report them to the assurance team
- Training and coaching audit team members by conducting timely performance review and providing feedback to them
Qualifications and skills
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive audit experience.
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent; CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable
- Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is advantageous.
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRS and ISA.
- Singapore residency and be able to work in Singapore.
