M&E Project Manager

Koh Brothers Building & Civil Engineering Contractor (pte.) Ltd.

Job Responsibilities

1) To oversee the planning, leadership, and monitoring of ongoing projects related to mechanical and electrical engineering

2) To ensure projects are completed within budget, including managing manpower costs effectively

3) To manage timelines to guarantee group of engineers are meeting project deadlines

4) To work with appointed M&E consultant to conceptualize all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, Bus Depot Equipment, design and engineering, basis of design, scope of work, development of construction documents and execute the project with the detailed designs

5) To Supervise and liaise closely with M&E sub-contractors and site operation team to facilitate installation works on site

6) To manage and oversee M&E and BDE system for LTA Bus Depot Project, ensuring Compliance with regulations and project specifications

7) To Interpret of specifications, compliances, terms and conditions, drawings and any other relevant document including getting budget approval from the relevant approving authorities and assist on the sub-contractor awarding process

8) Able to find potential variance order

9) To involve in planning and technical co-ordination of M&E and BDE services installation work

10) Assist and support the Project Director and Senior Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that work on site is on schedule

11) To coordinate with the relevant authorities for design approval and work permission

12) Ensure that all works carried out exceeds industry standards and are in compliance with local legislations, QHSE requirements and other regulations

13) Arrange timely and consistent communication sessions with internal and external stakeholders


Job Requirements

1) Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and degree recognised by Singapore PEB board

2) Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience and at least completed 1 LTA Bus depot or LTA infrastructure project after tertiary education in related fields for construction supervision of similar scale and complexity

3) Familiar PSSOC contract

4) Proficient in BIM software and AUTOCAD will be an added advantage

5) Preferably with experience in writing tender specifications

6) Good communication, written and analytical skills
