Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and hardware.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT systems.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Lead and manage the IT operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet the needs of the business.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure optimal system performance.
- Conduct regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and stability.
- Perform routine maintenance and proactively address potential issues.
- Respond to and resolve IT incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain a clear and efficient communication process for issue resolution with stakeholders.
- Ensure that IT operations comply with security policies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and other security tools to safeguard company data.
- Regularly review and update IT security protocols, and conduct security audits.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and suppliers.
- Ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met and vendor performance is tracked and evaluated.
- Oversee the procurement and renewal of IT hardware, software, and services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing complex IT environments, including network administration, server management, and IT security.
- Experience in a leadership role within IT operations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud services, etc.).
- Knowledge of security protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Expertise in system monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
