RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS).
- Project leader role for in-house system implementations.
- Manage small to medium-scale projects which are outsourced to vendors.
- Responsible for preparing tender specifications, evaluation and implementation of the outsourced systems.
- Administer and provide assistance / day-to-day operational support for both on-premise and cloud software solutions and platforms (e.g. PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Electronic Document Management System, OutSystems).
- Manage the security and performance of enterprise applications using tools like HP WebInspect, HP Fortify, Web Application Firewall and LoadRunner.
- Co-ordinate and conduct User Acceptance testing and training.
- Provide system documentation according to the Project Development Methodology.
- Conduct post implementation reviews to gather feedback and schedule for enhancements and modifications.
- Co-ordinate the design, release and deployment of systems having cross-functional team dependencies and impact to the application infrastructure.
- Evaluate software package / productivity tools and make recommendations to the group leader and supervisor.
- Participate in application infrastructure design, planning and implementation.
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions installation, setup, administration and upgrade with excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft application and security architecture.
- Security certifications like CEH or other relevant certification is highly preferred.
- Good experience in managing application vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. HP WebInspect, HP Fortify, Burp Suite).
- Good experience in application performance load testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner);
- Administering cloud solutions and platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge in Documentum or OutSystems administration will be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of software development life cycles and structured project development methodology.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
