Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure deliveries are executed in a Timely and Right First Time manner to foster customer satisfaction, and pro-actively communicate delivery related information and mitigation plans (where appropriate) to stakeholders.
• Ensure Transport Service Providers operate in Safe and Compliance (Quality and Business) fashion.
• Review, develop, monitor, and enforce the appropriate Service Level Agreement with Service Providers.
• Handles IG (Internal Group) freight
• Manage daily OBD creation and fix any OBD related issues
• Support IG freight internal stakeholder’s requests, updating and monitoring shipment schedules .
• Liaise closely with external freight forwarders on vessel schedules, documentation and any operational issues.
• Liaise with external WH on any shipment related issues such as SUT, pack code and documentation.
• Review escalation of issues from customers' or shippers' and reviews complaints regarding distribution services.
• Attend daily logistic meeting to update shipping documents KPI and findings to the team.
• Initiate and manage projects related to service, efficiency and / or savings improvements and drive all team members to engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives for their respective area of responsibility.
• Opportunity to understand and experience full range of shipping documents such as E Form D, ACWS, Certificate of Origin, Letter of Credit etc
• Review escalation of issues from customers' or shippers' and reviews complaints regarding distribution services.
