The IT Project Coordinator (Remote) is responsible for overseeing and coordination to ensure that project goals are accomplished and that the team has what they need to meet their deadlines. Here are some key responsibilities and skills typically associated with this role:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the JAS team members of the project in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
  • Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
  • Supervise the project procurement process.
  • Coordinate the meetings with project stakeholders to assess their needs and define project requirements, acceptance criteria, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what is needed at the right time.
  • Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what is expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Act as the liaison between the project team and project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Generate high level project progress reports, report on team members’ performance and provide updates to project stakeholders and/or IT management.
  • Schedule stakeholder meetings, document, and generate reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to manage meetings via MS Teams.
  • Experience with working with people across different countries in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. Experience with Wrike would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work remotely, independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum12.
