Work Location: Seng Kang
- Responsible for assisting lead engineer for coordinating with various stakeholders on issues related with LRT Signalling System (MHI’s Crystal Mover) during design phase of project
- Coordination between client and Vehicle Engineer working in Japan.
- Responsible for testing and commission of LRT signaling system.
- Troubleshooting and technical support for LRT signaling system during T&C and DLP.
Engineering
•Coordinating with various stakeholders for design works associated with LRT vehicle
•Finalize the acceptance of design document including preparation, review and explain to client the specification for LRT vehicle subsystems
•Prepare and review testing & commissioning/ installation procedures for LRT vehicle subsystems
•Lead engineer for vehicle system troubleshooting, rectification, testing
Management
•Manage and coordinate project works as assigned by lead engineer and project manager
•Coordinate with management, team members, vendors, contractors and client representatives.
•Update and report to management team.
Others
· Should be conversant with MRT\LRT Automatic Vehicle Protection (AVP), Vehicle Detection (VD), Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI), Automatic Vehicle Operation (AVO), Automatic Vehicle Supervision (AVS), Position Detection Ground Coil (PDGCs), Station Loop Coil (SLCs), Station Device Box (SD) and Wayside signaling equipment, various communication and logging systems and associated software.
· Should be conversant with LTA’s regulation
Requirements
· Masters or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum 20 years’ experience in LRT Signaling systems.
· Excellent Japanese Language skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent level) in both business writings & speaking to coordinate & communicate precise information with Japanese stakeholders in the APAC region / counterparts in Japan HQ.
· Oversea job site experience in transportation project
· IT skills such as Word/Excel/PowerPoint software
· Knowledge of MRT/LRT Signalling System Logic & Interface software and GUI software
· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff and individuals both inside and outside the organization.
· Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks / projects.
· Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
