Responsibilities
• The WSHO is responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the Safety, Health and Environmental matters in the project.
• Liaise closely with the Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites
• Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/ practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions to ensure environmental compliance
• Preparation and submission of reports
• Ensure safe work procedures implemented to control risk.
Requirements
• Registered with MOM as WSHO, ECO
• At least 2 years of experience as a WSH Officer
• Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance
• Must possess a WSQ Specialist Diploma in Safety & Health, or relevant degree
