You will be part of the team that supports Procurement and Inventory for the Group. Majority of your responsibilities will involve managing a spectrum of procurement process for direct and indirect material, as well as maintaining inventory levels.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain partnerships.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable agreements for the organization.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the inventory team to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize waste and excess inventory.
- Assist in the development of inventory forecasts and demand planning.
- Assist in Annual Inventory Stock Count
Cost Analysis:
- Analyze procurement data and cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in budget management, tracking expenses, and ensuring procurement activities remain within budgetary constraints
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, laws, and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- Assist in conducting supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, including supplier performance, cost savings, and inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and correspondence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless procurement operations.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide procurement support accordingly.
Qualifications and experience:
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management / Related Field
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Experience in manufacturing or materials trading field is advantageous
- Good command of English and Mandarin skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) to corresponds with Chinese Stakeholders/ Counterparts
- Candidate(s) with more experience will be considered for Asst. Managerial Role
