The responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, those contained in the following statements:
1. direct liaison with stakeholders in charge of project services (procurement/ draughting/ assets/ human resources);
2. specify scope of work and budgets for engineering activities, assets and 3rd party activities;
3. to be conversant with all items and conditions of the project both technically and commercially and to have a full understanding of the scope of work;
4. implementation, control and monitoring of overall safety and quality assurance in all project related activities as laid down in the company’s management system;
5. preparation and maintenance of budgets for the project assisted by the cost controller
6. preparation of the monthly reporting internal & external;
7. ensuring variations between actual costs and budget are monitored and controlled;
8. identifying and initiating any variations towards the client or approve/ reject variations from third parties on the basis of the contract T&C’s;
9. liaise with the client and ensure that project meetings are held with relevant personnel;
10. establishing all the resources from company’s departments needed to carry out the project.
11. encourage any technical developments or suggestions that will enhance the overall project engineering or operational efficiency;
12. ensure that all aspects of project administration, engineering and operations fulfil the contract requirements and are conducted in a safe, efficient and profitable manner;
13. conduct all activities within the management system, procedures and work instructions;
14. advise and assist commercial department with tenders for potential work;
15. ad-hoc duties as deemed required to complete the workscope.
