Responsibilities:
- Assist the WSHO in all WSH related matters, implementation and reports.
- Identify unsafe practices and conditions through daily site inspection.
- Conduct safety talk and monthly mass toolbox meeting.
- Assist in incident investigation and analysis
- Review of risk assessment and safe work practices.
- Maintain and file proper records of all inspection and investigate materials
- Advise MOS, risk assessments and safe work practices
- Involve in creating, maintaining and communicating safety-related policies, procedures and ensure compliance.
- Conduct safety inspections in worksite to observe working conditions, equipment and contractors’ behaviours to identify non-conformance, improvements needed and corrective action required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety-related regulatory requirements, including ISO standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ level or equivalent
- WSQ advanced certificate in WSH (level B) qualification and other related safety certifications.
- Bizsafe level 2 certificate
- Manage work at height / WAH assessor certificate
- Lifting supervisor certificate
- At least 3 years of work experience in construction projects.
- Knowledge of WSH act and its subsidiary legislation
- Preferably possess own transport
