The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all phases of the project, designing and implementing project plans to ensure timely project delivery within the time and budget.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Lead assigned teams in the timely execution of project to delivery within budget with responsibility for high productivity and performance.
- Manage marine / coastal infrastructure and drainage improvement projects from planning to implementation phases of projects
- Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance with the master program with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.
- Managing client relationship through the life cycle of projects; from tender or commencement of project to successful project completion
- Efficient management of marine subcontractors, related marine logistics, plant and equipment.
- Provide guidance to team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards
- Provide technical expertise as required on the project.
- Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
Skills & Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in delivering large scale projects in marine infrastructure
- Experience in seawall and coastal revetment works is an advantage
- Excellent track record of ability to manage teams and projects (from start to hand over).
- Strong ability in cost management and driving profitability while remaining in compliance with safety and quality standards
