The School of Social Sciences (Psychology) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow will be a key member of a 2-year project on understanding the experiences of low wage workers in the pursuit of lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting literature review related to the research project
- Assisting with the data collection
- Compiling, processing, and analyzing the quantitative and qualitative data collected
- Supporting the preparation of presentation, progress and final reports, and manuscripts related to the projects
- Liaising with external organization/institutions to handle any administrative work related to the Project
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Applied Psychology, Education or related fields
- Good research, communication, and management skills, as well as the ability to work independently are a must.
- Experience in empirical research, particularly research design, empirical methodologies, and scholastic writing of journal articles.
- Excellent data analytic skills
- Proficient in software such as R, SPSS, Mplus
- Experience with project management and grant application is desirable.
