Position Overview:
- The Mechanical QP will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical engineering designs and installations comply with regulatory standards and project specifications. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and a proven track record of working on large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, approve, and endorse mechanical designs to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Oversee and certify mechanical installations and construction works.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and project stakeholders to address compliance and safety matters.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to approved designs and safety standards.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure that all project activities align with current standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certified as a Qualified Person (QP) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience working on large-scale residential and commercial projects.
