Job Responsibilities
- Lead in planning and facilitating individual and group activities such as craft, painting, baking, etc.
- Assist with therapy under supervision of the healthcare professionals.
- Acquire consumables necessary for activities and oversee maintenance of Club equipment.
- Prepare consumables or samples for activities.
- Perform admin work and documentation such as maintenance of float, admission registration, monitor grants’ KPIs, capturing of outcome measures, etc.
- Screen and assess Persons with Dementia and Persons with Young On-set Dementia for programme suitability.
- Provide support for carers of clients attending programme through informal support group and training sessions.
- Provide orientation and guidance to volunteers/junior staff.
- Assist to oversee Club operations.
- Facilitate in introduction of pilot therapies for clients attending programme.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma (in eldercare field) and above.
- Passionate to work with elderly.
- Leadership quality and good team player.
- Creative and hands-on person in strength in either craft work or baking/cookery skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
