Responsibilities:

  • Process accurate and timely payroll for employees, including salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions for the Singapore office.
  • Maintain confidential payroll records and update changes such as promotions, terminations, and tax elections.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore labour laws, CPF contributions, employee leave, and other statutory requirements.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries, providing clear explanations on pay, deductions, and benefits.
  • Prepare and distribute payslips and reports, maintaining supporting payroll documentation.
  • Generate monthly payroll reports and assist with payroll account reconciliations and related financial statements.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee records (new hires, terminations, adjustments) for payroll processing.
  • Assist finance with invoicing, payment tracking, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate payment processing and customer balances.
  • Support general accounting tasks, such as journal entries and month-end closing activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Proven payroll experience with knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations. Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., EasyPay, Sage Payroll) and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in payroll processing and record-keeping.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to resolve employee queries and collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams.
  • Knowledge of Singapore's labour laws, CPF, tax regulations, and payroll standards is essential.
  • Ability to resolve payroll and account discrepancies efficiently.
