Job Description:
- Schedules, assigns and plans the work of carpentry factory personnel performing a variety of carpentry projects.
- Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of carpentry expenditures and procedures for equipment maintenance.
- Supervises carpenters to ensure safety and quality in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
- Constructs custom cabinetry and furniture as needed; repairs or modifies furniture as needed.
- Conform to an established work schedule.
- Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
Requirements:
- Good interpersonal communication and problem solving skills
- Good management of materials cost and stock inventory
- Joinery and cabinet making skills
- Able to work for long hours period or night shift
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
