Job Summary
As a Full Stack Developer Lead, you will lead a team of skilled developers, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from conception through deployment. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across the stack. In this role, you will act as a mentor, promoting skill development and encouraging continuous improvement within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Development Projects: Manage and oversee the entire SDLC, from planning and design through deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with the product team to align technical solutions with business objectives, contributing to product roadmaps and prioritizing features.
- Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, modular, and efficient code while ensuring best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support team members, helping them build their technical and professional skills.
- Full Stack Development: Work across the front and back end, including server, API, and database management, to deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance the performance and scalability of the applications to handle growing user demands.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend new approaches for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in full stack development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects in a leadership role.
- Front-End Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Back-End Skills: Experience with server-side languages like Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Database Management: Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, and problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring and technical growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Agile Experience: Previous experience working within Agile development frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of best practices in application and data security, including OWASP standards.
