Job Description

To increase the brand awareness and mindshare of NUS Business School globally, the candidate will need to assume the key responsibilities as follows:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create, manage and oversee the brand narrative, guidelines and assets across all touchpoints. As a brand custodian and champion, it is also necessary to preserve the integrity of the NUS Business School by ensuring that its brand story and messaging are clear, consistent, and compelling in the communications collaterals and activities for regional and international audiences.
  2. Counsel, coordinate and synergise the branding and digital media-centric publicity activities within the corporate communications department and possibly the across the other departments, if needed
  3. Identify co-branding opportunities and support the development of brand strategies and content production to communicate the NUS Business School brand narrative
  4. Design and plan effective integrated brand and digital marketing communications campaigns and initiatives for target markets to support the school’s business objectives
  5. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ideate possible initiatives that will elevate the school’s brand globally
  6. Leverage data to instil insights for market-specific brand communications and digital marketing campaigns and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Education preferably a degree in mass communication, new media, marketing or business
  • At least 8-10 years of proven working experience in designing and executing successful branding and marketing communications campaigns in overseas markets. A strong understanding of the education sector will be valued.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, social media and digital platforms and the know-how to integrate content and platforms for optimal audience engagement
  • Good knowledge and practical skills in social media, media planning and marketing analytics
  • Adept at storytelling, copywriting and customising the messages and visual assets for targeted marketing purposes. Strong proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Meticulous, proactive, creative and can think outside the box
  • An agile team player and able to identify synergies with various departments within the school
  • Strong ability to multitask, plan projects and adhere to given deadlines
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite software packages and in-design skills will be an advantage
