Job Description
- Handling orders follow-up for import / export shipments (both air/sea freight)
- Perform Customer service activities, attending to customers’ enquiries, complaints
- Prepare quotations when sales are not available for urgent shipments
- Working closely with Sales & operations divisions
- Co-ordination between internal offices / agents & clients for orders follow up via ocean / air import & export
- Handling of crosstrade shipments
- Doing bookings of shipments
- Preparing documentations such as permits, bill of lading, billings and pre-alert docs to agents
- Arranging Custom clearance for customers, and door delivery services
- Coordinate with the internal officer to handle the order and follow up for the shipments according to operational policies, standard and procedure.
- Arrange custom clearance for customers, and door delivery services according to industry standards or sector requirements and handle another legal document.
- Attend and solve customer 's enquiries according to the customers' need and wants.
- Work closely with sales department and may need to prepare quotation when sales team are not available for urgent shipments.
- Maintain business relationship with customer.
Job Requirements
- Possess "O" level, "A" Level, ITE, Diploma in the relevant discipline, Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration Management, MaritimeStudie, Supply Chain, or equivalent are all welcome to apply
- Prefer minimum 0 to 2 years' experience in shipping / freight forwarding.
- Possess good communication and customer service skills.
- Meticulous with an eye for details.
- Pleasant personality with positive working attitude.
- Interested in data entry and doing documentation.
- Proficient in PC application (MS Word, Excel).
