Package Engineer (Tuas)

  • Reports to Package Manager
  • Perform interface management between the Vendors, the yard and Owner
  • Review and checks documents and drawings from the Vendors to ensure compliance with specification
  • Ensure that yard drawings adequately capture Vendor’s details and requirements
  • Monitor, control and report Vendor’s progress against the plan to ensure on time completion and delivery against the plan
  • Coordinate the yard FAT procedure, review and approve Vendor’s FAT procedure
  • Coordinate and attend FAT
  • Coordinate and approve Vendor’s Packing list and coordinate delivery of the Vendor Package
  • Perform periodic visit to site to confirm equipment readiness for installation, for completion and for vendor callouts
  • To coordinate and perform inspection upon delivery
  • Support site installation and completion of the Vendor Package
  • Ensure that Vendor’s requirements are adequately carried out during installation
  • Manage overall Vendor Call Outs
  • Responsible for daily management and interface for Vendors Site Service Engineers
  • Review SAT/ CTPs to ensure that test procedures are in line with Vendor’s requirements
  • Lead / support site pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Vendor Package
  • Support Commissioning Manager during the Commissioning phase of the Project
  • Final documentation close out with Vendor
  • Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate Supervisor / Head of Department
  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities when tasked by immediate Supervisor / Head of Department.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, general interest mindset, ability to address conflict constructively
  • Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess positive and willing to learn attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Advanced Microsoft Excel)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine, offshore and renewable sectors
  • Location: West - Pioneer
