As an Oracle Forms and Reports Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Forms and Reports applications that support various business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Oracle Forms applications, ensuring high levels of performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Create complex reports using Oracle Reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate application functionality.
- Provide support for existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Document design specifications, technical guidelines, and user manuals according to company standards.
- Stay updated on new Oracle technologies and best practices to recommend improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Forms and Reports development.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL.
- Experience in designing and developing Oracle Forms and generating reports using Oracle Reports.
- Familiarity with Oracle Database and understanding of database concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
