Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all operations conform to safety requirements and maintain high safety standards.
- Performs machining jobs and able to reach technical drawings
- Performs calibration of machining work pieces.
- Comply with all statutory requirements as well as in-house Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) programmes.
- Reports all sub-standard conditions, equipments, practices and incompatible work processes.
- Reports all injuries, however minor and near misses to their supervisors.
- Uses all the required Personal Protective Equipment provided to them.
- Participates in all planned HSEQ programmes.
- Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- NTC-3 or 2 certificate in metal machining or minimum three years in any metal machining companies.
- Knowledge of various operations of turning machines and shipyard’s safety rules and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of different types of material.
