Role and Responsibilities
- Contextualise teaching and learning approaches aligned to the Kindergarten curriculum framework.
- Contextualise strategies to observe and document children’s learning.
- Maintain and update observation records that evaluates holistic development of children through documentation of portfolio, checklist and school management systems (SMS).
- Engage children meaningfully through co-design of Malay Language and Literacy that nurtures social-emotional development, teaching basic skills for numeracy, literacy, aesthetics and creative development, self – help skills and personal hygiene vis-à-vis submitted weekly work/lesson plans that meets ECDA policy requirements, the children’s abilities and their learning/educational needs.
- Support colleagues (educators) in organising and leading activities designed that promotes physical, cognitive and social development through show and tell, games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, field trips and performing arts.
Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T)
- Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education
- Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (Malay) (CPMTL-M)
- Excellent Soft skills
