Our client is a global manufacturer. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Customer Quality Engineer to be part of their Quality team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the North Area - easily accessible.
Responsibility of Customer Quality Engineer:
- Analyze and apply customer quality specifications, developing and upholding internal quality benchmarks through APQP methodologies (e.g., Process Flow Diagram, Control Plan).
- Facilitate Built-in Quality workshops, ensuring collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve and monitor continuous improvements through to completion.
- Lead initiatives to resolve quality issues for new programs (such as Process of Record, Process Change Request, First Time Quality) to enhance performance.
- Chair Material Review Board meetings to address deviations and spearhead corrective actions for non-conformance cases.
- Obtain customer approval for Production Parts and provide support for the initial stages of production.
- Promptly address customer returns by utilizing Six Sigma problem-solving techniques and the 8D approach.
- Capture and document lessons learned for each new program and apply these insights to future projects.
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Operating System throughout product launches.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Engineering related field
- Minimum 3 experience in Quality and Product Launch
- Knowledge in Automotive industry regulations and standards
