1114 Receptionist cum Admin Support (Seng Kang)

Work Location: Seng Kang

Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Fridays: 8:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break

Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Handle telephone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries (vendors, parents, students, general public) and manage receipt of deliveries.
  2. Provide support to teaching and administrative staff by assisting students and parents with information. Be present on curriculum days (except approved leave).
  3. Ensure smooth communication within the school and proper transmission of necessary information.
  4. Attend to minor student injuries/accidents and maintain injury/accident records.
  5. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, updating student attendance, and collecting forms.
  6. Maintain counter cleanliness and ensure the reception area is neat and tidy. Assist with contacting parents, students, teachers, and vendors.
  7. Support school programs and initiatives (e.g., P1 Registration, Orientation, Temperature Taking Exercise).
  8. Assist with any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the school.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  1. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  2. Knowledge of Mandarin, Malay, or dialects is a plus.
  3. Able to work independently.
  4. Strong team player with initiative.
  5. Pleasant personality with a positive, cheerful attitude.
  6. Enjoys working with children, showing patience and empathy.
  7. At least 1 year of experience in receptionist duties.
  8. Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage.
  9. Familiarity with MS Office for administrative tasks is preferred.
