Work Location: Seng Kang
Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Fridays: 8:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle telephone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries (vendors, parents, students, general public) and manage receipt of deliveries.
- Provide support to teaching and administrative staff by assisting students and parents with information. Be present on curriculum days (except approved leave).
- Ensure smooth communication within the school and proper transmission of necessary information.
- Attend to minor student injuries/accidents and maintain injury/accident records.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, updating student attendance, and collecting forms.
- Maintain counter cleanliness and ensure the reception area is neat and tidy. Assist with contacting parents, students, teachers, and vendors.
- Support school programs and initiatives (e.g., P1 Registration, Orientation, Temperature Taking Exercise).
- Assist with any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the school.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Knowledge of Mandarin, Malay, or dialects is a plus.
- Able to work independently.
- Strong team player with initiative.
- Pleasant personality with a positive, cheerful attitude.
- Enjoys working with children, showing patience and empathy.
- At least 1 year of experience in receptionist duties.
- Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Office for administrative tasks is preferred.
