Job description
This is a direct Sales and marketing, business development position for marine products focusing on few regional markets. Our company is primarily involved in Shipbuilding , marine, oil and gas , energy sector related industries.
The person is expected manage and develop new markets for the company and grow regional market share in the assigned overseas markets. Prospecting for clients and leads is a crucial aspect of the role.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting for clients and leads, by research, online and through industry news and events
- Develop new markets, accounts and manage existing customer base by evaluating sales potential and active follow-up with customers requirement
- Identify customers’ needs and offer technical solution/products
- Plan, forecast and materialize sales target set by the Business Unit / Division
- Preparing quotation, stock planning and ensure customers meet our credit guideline set by the management
- To perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when required/assigned by superior.
The ideal candidate should:
- self-motivated , driven
- comfortable with sales role, client facing,
- Have sales experience , preferably in technical sales and or marine/shipbuilding industry
- Able to work independently
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills,
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Able to travel frequently for the job
