We are Focus Law Asia LLC, a boutique disputes law firm based in Singapore. We are seeking a Foreign Lawyer to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will expected to:
· Collaborate with local lawyers to draft agreements tailored to client needs.
· Conduct research, and collaborate with Singapore-based lawyers.
· Provide translation services between Japanese and English for clients.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for local and Japanese clients, coordinating closely with clients to ensure seamless service.
· Contribute to business development efforts to support firm growth and client acquisition.
Requirements:
- A recognised Law Degree from Japan and/or from common law jurisdiction especially from UK or SG.
- At least 5 years of legal work experience especially in employment law, corporate law and cross-border M&A.
- Well-versed in the law with advanced research skills
- Fluent in both English and Japanese (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work well in a team
