Our client, a leading global retail firm is seeking an FP&A Manager to support the Asia Finance Director. This pivotal role involves acting as a strategic finance business partner to the regional leadership team, delivering accurate and timely financial insights to drive informed decision-making and robust business control. The FP&A Manager will collaborate closely with various regional functions to optimize financial performance and provide critical insights to support business objectives and enhance overall outcomes.
The Role
You will deliver timely, accurate financial insights to support management and the regional finance team in key areas of control, including variance analysis, capital expenditure tracking, and ad hoc cost analysis. Coordinate with business teams across the budgeting cycle, strategic planning, internal processes, and reporting schedules, ensuring timely deliverables in a matrix environment. You will collaborate with regional functions based in Singapore on managing corporate costs, payroll, cash flow, balance sheet, P&L, and statutory audits. Provide scenario analysis to inform decision-making and drive growth, while identifying opportunities for process and reporting improvements. Lead or pilot tools and initiatives to enhance business efficiency, including ongoing development of financial systems, with additional duties as assigned by management.
Your Profile
We are seeking for a talent with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience with a solid foundation in accounting and financial planning, ideally within the retail or FMCG sectors. Prior experience in financial controlling is advantageous. Proficiency in SAP, or other performance management software is preferred. The ideal candidate is energetic, driven, and proactive in achieving results, with a quick learning ability and a strong grasp of key business drivers. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential, along with a collaborative spirit to work effectively within diverse teams. Strong communication skills are critical, enabling effective interaction across all levels and functions, along with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
