Invictus International School is seeking an experienced and energetic Head of Marketing and Admissions who would be responsible for generating all leads through an effective and efficient marketing plan and for the successful enrolment of prospective students to achieve Invictus’ enrolment ambition in Singapore. Manage a team across 3 campuses, working to the Head of School but in conjunction with each Campus Principal. He/she must be fluent in English and the ability to verbally converse in Chinese would be an advantage. He/she must possess excellent planning, communication and implementation skills alongside proven team leadership and management, preferably in an educational setting.
Marketing and Public Relations:
- Lead and execute the annual Invictus SG marketing and communication plan to achieve student enrolment KPIs / targets, including monthly educational events, international school fairs, information sessions and recruitment activities. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
- Lead Invictus SG school marketing team in generating leads and converting these to applications.
- Manage the in-year Marketing budget allocated by Head of School, ensuring ROI and CBA methodologies are implemented to ensure quantitative data is generated to support the Marketing Plan.
- Manage the Agents for Invictus SG, liaising with the China Desk at School Support Office (SSO) as required.
- Oversee school tours and ensure that the messages being delivered, and the conduct of the tours highlight the Invictus SG value proposition. Ensure all staff delivering tours are qualified and this is reviewed annually.
- Oversee and track regular follow-up on prospective parents / leads via email, telephone, social media and in person to generate applications.
- High independent self-starter who owns and champions all SEO/ SEM, online/offline marketing channels, public relations including spearheading newsworthy press releases and social media posts featuring school leaders, teachers, weekly newsletters, written content and photos, fun classroom/out-of-class moments, and overseeing audience response.
- Build, manage and grow a network of KOLs, influencers, student agents, relocation agents, and property agents to actively promote the school to them. Proven success in driving online/offline/PR brand preference and marketing excellence, especially in SG education sector, is highly preferred.
- Be a brand ambassador who understands the school’s value proposition and clearly articulates this to all stakeholders.
- Brand guardian for Invictus SG to ensure all marketing materials stay within brand guidelines.
- Constantly scanning the environment for strategic partner relationships.
- Liaise, as necessary, with the Group Marketing team at the SSO
- Process Owner for EduTrust Criterion 3 and author of associated controlled documentation
- Ensure a clear understanding of, and work at all times within, the policy, procedures and direction laid down by Invictus SG.
Admissions:
- Lead Invictus SG school admissions team to qualify and convert applications into enrolled students. Work with Admissions Officers to recruit, analyse and process prospective student applications and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate student information in each campus database.
- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate student information in the school’s MIS.
- Support key school orientation and recruitment events.
- Process Owner for EduTrust Criterion 4.1 – 4.3 and author of the associated controlled documents
- Possess a clear understanding of the Singaporean requirements and the school’s admission policies and standards, and ensure all staff follow accordingly.
- Ensure a clear understanding of, and work at all times within, the policy, procedures and direction laid down by Invictus SG.
Management:
- Proven track record in leadership position and people management skills.
- A true team player working closely with Head of School, Principals, SLT, Marketing & Admissions Executives, and SSO as required.
