Scope of work:
To cultivate relationship and partnership with community stakeholders and engage the beneficiaries for onboarding in Jamiyah Programmes and Services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To manage the Jampacked Centre and assist in the day-to-day operations, such as point of sales transaction for the beneficiaries.
- Assist in the stock take as well as place orders for the stock on a weekly basis.
- Able to work well independently and in teams across different departments within the organisation to implement stakeholder engagement and Strategies.
- Work closely with the grassroots organisation and residents’ network to cultivate relationship and beneficiary engagement.
- Work with the multi-business units in formulating and initiating programmes to support the low-income families as well as fostering community involvement.
- Work closely with Programme Department to ensure programmes are of appropriate quality and resources are used effectively.
- Conduct environmental scanning for the various business units and identify the potential community partners and stake holders in the GRC and Divisions
- Conduct Terrain Mapping for the respective business units in the GRC and Divisions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with volunteers and communities, government agencies.
- Engage the beneficiaries from the grassroots and community for onboarding to CODD programmes and services as well as onboard new volunteers to support Jamiyah events.
- Work with external vendors in organising workshops/actives for the beneficiaries
- Support Door Knocking Exercise at the respective Jampacked Centres.
- Support in Jamiyah Events and activities
- Undertake ad-hoc projects or assignment.
Location & Working Hours
West Area, West Coast
Mon - Fri, 9am to 630pm, Alt Sat, 9am to 1pm
Experience/ Skills:
- O Levels, Diploma in any discipline
- Prior relevant experience in community engagement is advantageous.
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
- Experienced in engaging stakeholders such as Grassroots organisations, religious. organisations, schools, community partners and government agencies.
- Possess excellent written, oral presentation skills and proficient in MS Office.
- Able to commit to certain weekend and evening meetings.
- Able to multi-task and handle concurrent projects; works well in a fast-paced environment effectively and independently as well as in team-based arrangements.
