Responsibilities:
• Perform daily production activities like loading/unloading of packaged chemicals, preweigh raw materials, monitor and feed equipment, pack finished goods.
• Able to operate, troubleshoot and perform general preventive maintenance on extruder and mixers.
• Perform basic QA testing and analysis to ensure product quality.
• Communicate and work closely with team to maximize production and reduce downtime.
• Perform raw material cycle count to ensure accurate inventory control in the warehouse.
• Involve and support in process improvement activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety in production area.
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum Nitec in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and equivalent disciplines.
• At least one year of experience in working in a chemical plant or related field.
• Knowledge and experience in twin screw extruder operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Positive working attitude, good team player, willingness to learn is important.
• Able to work in shifts.
