Receptionist cum Office Assistant

Scope of work

(a) Assist in school’s General Office operations such as answering phone calls/walk-ins in a timely manner; taking and relaying messages where necessary

(b) Attend to sick/injured students, ensuring such cases are recorded in the office log book

(c) Assist in office administration matters and clerical work, including receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail /deliveries /posts/ couriers, maintaining a log book.

(d) Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the Reception Area at all times

(e) Any other duties as assigned by the P/VPs/HODs/AM


Qualifications:

• Full GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or its equivalent


Skills:

• Good communication and inter-personal skills

• Familiar with the use of computers and relevant software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word etc


Experience:

• Has relevant working experience in service-related industry such as customer service, retail etc

• Should preferably has some experience working with children or in a school environment


Contract Period: From 2 January 2025 to 31 December 2026


Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break

• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

• To be willing to work on flexible working hours depending on school needs
