Scope of work
1. Attend to telephone calls, emails, front desk reception walk-in enquiries (vendors, parents, students, general public) and receipt of deliveries.
2. Support teaching and administrative staff by providing information to students and parents. To be present during curriculum days with the exception of occasional leave-taking (subject to approval).
3. Facilitate communicate within the school by ensuring necessary information is properly transmitted.
4. Attend to minor student injuries/ accidents and maintain the student injuries/ accidents records file.
5. Assist with administrative duties e.g. filing, data entry, student attendance update, collection of forms.
6. Perform daily upkeeping of counter cleanliness and keeping the area neat and tidy. Help contact parents, students, teachers and vendors.
7. Assist with school programmes/ initiatives e.g. P1 Registration Exercise, P1 Orientation Day, Temperature Taking Exercise etc.
8. Assist with any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the school.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
1. Able to read, write and converse in English.
2. Knowledge in other languages (Mandarin, Malay) and dialects would be advantageous.
3. Able to work independently.
4. Good team player with initiative.
5. Pleasant personality, positive and cheerful attitude.
6. Likes working with children, demonstrating patience and empathy.
7. 1 year experience in receptionist duties.
8. Previous work experience in school setting would be advantageous.
9. Experience with admin work using MS Office would be advantageous.
Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 with an option to extend
the Contract for a further period of 1 year.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
- Fridays: 8:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
