Job description
- Proactively engaging with customers on service sales and technical inquiries to support the sales team in meeting sales growth objectives and nurturing positive client relationships.
- Provides technical support during site installation, troubleshooting and testing & commissioning.
- Deliver in-house (phone/email) and on-site service support, as well as conduct demonstrations for potential customers.
- Provides technical support throughout site installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning, including diagnosing issues, providing quotations, and processing purchase orders.
- Source and fabricate troubleshooting tools, as well as manage the ordering process to ensure spare parts availability and reordering when necessary.
- Prepare documentation for repair cases as required and assist with payment issues related to repair orders.
- Enhance service revenue and expedite repair process turnaround time (TAT), while also managing warranty claims for both local and overseas customers.
- Keep the repair/workshop area tidy and orderly, ensuring that demo equipment remains in operational condition.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements :
- Minimum a Higher NITEC qualifications.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of commercial experience in the Electrical/ Electronic industry. Fresh graduates are welcome too.
- Good understanding of Standard Electrical Schematic Diagrams, and able to perform System, Hardware Testing & Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and practical use of standard vacuum technology practices is an advantage.
- Service-minded with passion and patience for handling customers.
